Monkey Ltd has announced a new initiative at all of it’s world wide facility to be more environmentally forward thinking. The new effort, called “Go Green Yourself” is a multi-tiered approached to filmmaking in a eco-conscious way.

“Basically, we are not going to be shooting our film for the next few months,” announced Tyler Meyer, Vice-President of Relations with Mother Nature. When asked how the company came up with such a novel approach to conserving resources, he replied “It [Mother Earth] got cold.”

Director of Carbonite Emmissions, Dennis Meyer had more to add on this point.  “We’re making a movie called The Legend of Grassman. We kinda need grass and other green stuff. So, we’re gonna wait ’til it comes back.”

The announcement comes just in time for the meeting of the G-77  for the climate summit in Copenhagen. Although major players have yet to comment, sources close to the internet suspect that people are quietly abuzz about the lead Monkey Ltd has taken in corporate responsibility.

As for what more the world can expect from these innovators of entertainment and eco-stuffs, the Meyer’s had only this to say: “Go green yourself!”

Go green yourself!

Go green yourself!

Chat transcript from Day 144 (Today, April 14, 2009) since our decision to make a feature…

(10:26:59 AM) Tyler: Had I dream I was shooting On Golden Pond on video, guerrilla style.
(10:27:29 AM) Dennis:
(10:27:36 AM) Dennis: That’s kinda messed up.
(10:28:05 AM) Tyler: The weirdest part was when Henry Fonda and Jane Fonda were sitting out on the deck.  And she said she was going skinny dipping.  Then she opened her robe, revealing boobage.
(10:28:52 AM) Tyler: To which Henry said, “I don’t usually go for skinny dipping…  but there’s something about the way the light is hitting my daughter…”
(10:29:27 AM) Tyler: We then had a few more scenes to shoot.
(10:30:16 AM) Tyler: Apparently, one of them involved Henry Fonda shooting at me and Dabney Coleman with some kind of bean bag rifle.
(10:30:32 AM) Tyler: Although he started doing that when I wasn’t shooting,
(10:30:49 AM) Tyler: sending me and Dabney rolling down a hill, scampering to get away.
(10:31:15 AM) Tyler: May have been shouting at us, to.  Possibly about staying away from his daughter.
(10:32:07 AM) Tyler: The dream ended when I realized the bean bag impacts actually felt pretty good on my lower back, cause I had some back pain.
(10:32:32 AM) Tyler: So I laid there and tried to get hit in the right place.
(10:33:36 AM) Dennis: You ain’t right.
(10:34:05 AM) Tyler: How creepy is Henry Fonda, though?
(10:34:17 AM) Tyler: And an asshole, too.
(10:34:28 AM) Dennis: Pretty creepy. But he did help your back.
(10:34:53 AM) Tyler: True.  Not on purpose.  Dabney was screaming at me to get away.
(10:35:13 AM) Tyler: He’s a good guy to get into a scrap with.

Many people do not discuss the toll that working on a film takes on a person.  Coppola showed in quite nicely in Hearts of Darkness.  However, I am a bit worried that if Tyler is this crazy now… he may eat his own foot during an attempt to kidnap Dabney Coleman, shouting, “The Old Poop will never get us, will he Dabney! Me and you, Dabney! Me and you! Want a taste of my foot?”

Let me take a second to demonstrate what exactly I, Dennis, have to work with here as we attempt to make movies, nay, entertainment history together. You may email your condolences to info@monkeyltd.com.

Tyler and I have recently been checking out Facebook lately. It has changed a bit since I last attempted to figure it out.  It now includes cool functionality where you can link your Facebook to your other social networking accounts at sites like Flickr, last.FM, Picasa, and YouTube.

We use YouTube.  Cool.

So, we both linked our Facebooks to the MonkeyLtdFilms YouTube account.  Sweet! Now our video updates will post on Facebook automatically.  We are on our way to making it big now!

Not so fast…

See, we forgot one thing: Tyler is a jackass.  Since I have the same YouTube account linking on my Facebook, and since I have no actual control over said account, he thought he would do jokes.

He begin clicking on and making favorites of man-ass videos on YouTube.  And by “man-ass” I mean videos of dudes shaking their asses and other parts in the camera for other men to enjoy.  Then, my Facebook would be updated with things like “Dennis has picked Spandex Male Package Floppy Dance as a Favorite video on YouTube.”  Funny, right?

Not so fast…

In the process, Tyler somehow hosed the link with Facebook (which may not allow man-ass vids) and none of the updates were posting.  Not knowing what was going on, I removed the broken YouTube link and linked to my own YouTube account, which has all the Monkey Ltd films as favorites.

And now, according to YouTube, Tyler is gay and LOVES the man-ass vids.  Loves them so much, it keeps recommending them to him.

New vids, old vids, butt vids, wang vids.

No matter how many other types of videos he clicks on, YouTube presents him with a virtual Mantopia of dude-flicks for him to enjoy in the privacy of his office.

Now, you may laugh.

On the plus side, Naked Towel Dance should get another boost from this.
